What does the price include?

The price covers the cost of the complete stay during the dates requested in the search. All the facilities listed within the property specifications are included in the price. Taxes are also included. Items highlighted under Owner’s Special Requirements, if any, are not included. These are to be settled with the landlord on arrival. Any other terms and conditions will also be stipulated in your confirmation email.

Can a reservation be made without a credit card?

For a reservation to be confirmed, a 25% deposit through the website’s secure payment gateway is required. You can also make a booking using someone else’s card provided you have their permission. In this case please confirm the card holder’s name and that you have permission to use their card, in the ‘Comments’ box when making your booking.

Should this still not be an option, you may send us an email and we can send you instructions on how to effect payment through bank transfer. The reservation will only be confirmed upon receipt of full deposit amount.

How do I know that my reservation is confirmed?

As soon as you have completed the booking process the confirmation page appears. This page shows all of your reservation details, including the booking reference number and your username, so you can access your confirmation online through ‘My Booking’.

Upon receipt of your reservation we will contact the landlord and confirm that the dates requested are available and upon confirmation of this, we will authorise receipt of the deposit transaction and confirm your booking. You will receive notification emails from www.maltaholidaylets.com.mt throughout the whole process, notifying you as to the progress of your booking.

Can I change or cancel my reservation?

Bookings can be cancelled by notifying us in advance. See Cancellation Policy for further details.

How will I find the property upon arrival?

After completing the booking process and after effecting full payment, an email will be sent to you including full details of the property including the full address as well as contact details of the landlord or his representative who shall meet you at the property upon arrival. Should you require further information you may then either contact us or contact the landlord directly.

How can I check how much a specific property costs?

Once you have entered the dates for your stay and run a search, properties that match your criteria will be listed showing the rate for the particular period requested alongside the available properties.

If the property you want to check is listed within the “Hot Properties” section, you can click on the property in order to take you to the property details page. Then, under the “Search for availability” section, you will be able to enter the dates of your stay and upon doing so, the rate for the whole stay will be clearly displayed.

Rates of properties vary depending on the time of the year. There are three main seasons - low, medium or high. Offers pertaining to specific periods may also be applicable, in which case, this will be clearly displayed on the online calendar at the bottom of the property details page.

When do I have to pay for the rental?

In order for a property to be reserved for you, a deposit of 25% is required. This transaction will be processed and confirmed upon confirmation of the availability of the property. In the eventuality that the property is no longer available, then the deposit will be released and considered null. An email will be sent to you confirming the outcome.

The remaining payment covering the booking will need to reach us via bank transfer at least 8 weeks prior to the commencement of the booking date period. In the eventuality that the outstanding amount is not received within such time, the booking will be considered as cancelled and the deposit will be forfeited. Full details covering the payment procedure will be emailed to you upon confirmation of a booking and a number of reminder emails will be sent accordingly. It is your responsibility to ensure that full payment reaches us on time as per our terms and conditions.

We have children. Can we get extra beds or cots?

Information regarding children and extra beds/cots may be located under the ‘Owner’s special requirements’ section in the property details page. Each property clearly highlights the number of bedrooms available and the number of persons it can accommodate. Please take note of the following:

Added costs for cots, if any, are not included in the price.

During the online booking process please place your request for any extra bed/cot in the Comments box provided.

If you’ve already booked your accomodation, just click on the link provided in your email confirmation and on My Booking to request an extra bed/cot. This will be confirmed subject to availability.

We suggest that you re-confirm your request prior to arrival. You will find the property owner’s contact information in your confirmation email.

You can always contact us to confirm availability, before you book.

Can I make a booking for tonight on your website?

Generally this is possible. In such instances it is recommended that you contact us on +356 23 794 194 or send us an email and we will guide you accordingly. Please take extra care when entering all of your information, especially your credit card number, as we may not have enough time to contact you to amend any errors that could jeopardise your reservation.

Can I search for accommodation by price?

Yes, but only after you have entered your search criteria and your dates of travel. Once you have done this, you will be shown a list of available properties. At the top of the page you can see a ‘Sort by:’ bar, which includes the option of sorting the search results by price, special offer, location or type.

I cannot log in with the password I had been given?

If you are a property owner you are meant to log in under that specific section. You may not use the generic log in which is reserved for user or new registration.

In the case of Travellers, please refer to the email we sent you on your registration where your username and password had been given to you. Copy and paste them in the corresponding field in the main log in screen and click on log in.

If you still have trouble logging in, kindly contact us and let us know, and our website administrator will reset the password for you.
