Guests have full private access to the entire penthouse apartment — both front terraces, the rear balcony, and all rooms. The building has a lift to the 6th floor.

We are available through the Airbnb messaging platform and typically respond within the hour. Check-in is fully self-managed. Full arrival instructions and access details will be sent through the platform 2 days before your arrival. We are not on-site but remain reachable throughout your stay for anything you need.

The Penthouse sits at the centre of St Julian’s most connected triangle: Spinola Bay waterfront to one side, Portomaso Marina to the other, and Paceville between them. Everything guests will want on a typical day is within 5–10 minutes on foot.

Spinola Bay — 2 min walk

The bay is directly visible from the front terraces. The waterfront promenade runs along the bay and is lined with restaurants and bars with open-air terrace seating — from casual lunch spots to full seafood dinners. The LOVE monument, colourful luzzu fishing boats, and the Spinola Palace gardens are all along the same strip. In summer, the promenade hums until late.

Portomaso Marina — 5 min walk

Head north from the apartment toward the marina — a quieter, more upscale alternative to the Spinola strip. Luxury yachts, a handful of restaurants and bars, and the Portomaso Business Tower are all here. Level 22 bar on the tower’s top floors has some of the best panoramic views in Malta.

Paceville — 5 min walk

Malta’s main nightlife district is a short walk east. Clubs, live music venues, bars, and late-night dining are all within reach. St George’s Bay — a Blue Flag sandy beach — is directly adjacent to Paceville and popular during the day.

Mercury Tower & Shopping — 8 min walk

Mercury Tower Shopping Centre and Bay Street Shopping Complex are both within walking distance. Bay Street also has a cinema, food court, and a range of fashion and lifestyle shops.

Balluta Bay & Sliema — 10 min walk

Head west along the promenade toward Balluta Bay — the sandy bay beach, the Carmelite Church, and Balluta Square cafés. Continue further for the Sliema waterfront, additional shopping, and the Sliema Ferry to Valletta.

Parking

Street parking is available on surrounding streets. No permit required, though spaces fill quickly in summer evenings.

St Julian’s is one of Malta’s best-connected areas for public transport and is extremely walkable. Most of what guests will want day-to-day is accessible without a car.

Valletta (Capital City) — approx. 20 min by car / 25 min by bus

Bus routes 13, 14, 16, 212, and 222 serve the St Julian’s area with regular connections to Valletta Bus Terminal. By car or Bolt, follow the coast road south through Sliema. The Sliema Ferry is also an option — a 10-minute crossing from the Sliema Ferries terminal, approximately 15–20 minutes’ walk from the apartment.

Sliema — 15 min walk / 5 min by Bolt

The Sliema waterfront promenade, The Point Shopping Mall, and the Sliema Ferry to Valletta are a comfortable walk west along the coast.

Mdina & Rabat — approx. 30 min by car

Best reached by car or Bolt. Head inland toward Birkirkara and follow signs for Mdina.

Three Cities — approx. 20 min by car

Head south toward Paola and follow signs for Cospicua. One of Malta’s most historically rich areas.

Golden Bay & Għajn Tuffieħa — approx. 35 min by car

Malta’s most scenic west-coast beaches. Best reached by car or Bolt — recommended for a half-day trip.

Gozo Ferry (Ċirkewwa) — approx. 40 min by car

Head northwest via St Paul’s Bay. 24-hour service with approximately 45-minute frequency. Car or Bolt recommended.

Bolt is the most practical option for point-to-point journeys. Download before arriving.

St Julian’s is a lively area, particularly in summer — the apartment is private and well-positioned, but the wider area reflects this character, especially near Paceville and Spinola Bay on weekends.
